1、General Information

Suzhou Neway Foundry plant locates on 11#, Free Road, Baiyangwan , Suzhou city, 90 km from Shanghai, 190km from Nanjing city, 200km from Hangzhou city and 20km from Taihu Lake, leading to nearby cities by 312# and 318# highway, Nanjing-Shanghai express highway, Suzhou-Hangzhou express highway ect.. Neway foundry cover 45000 square miters, including structural area of 20000 square miters, planting area of 7000 square miters。Now the annual production capacity is about 11000 tones .There are 260 employees, including 15 management people and 10 technicians.

2、Inspection and Test

Neway Foundry has established and implemented the special inspection system to meet the production of cast steels for valve , including incoming inspection、process inspection and final inspection. There are twenty inspectors who have obtained the related qualified certificate in QA department. Neway foundry has established the special lab, including sand strength test, chemical composition control, tensile test, impact test, MT/PT test, the test of pitting corrosion resistance of stainless in the ferric chloride solution and metallographic examination and can meet the requirements of the customer.

3、Product design and technology assessment

Neway foundry is equipped with the software-CAE for Numerical Simulation of Casting Solidification. Technologists always do the numerical simulation of casting solidification after the process is designed or changed greatly .It is very helpful to decrease the defect of shrinkage and ensure the top-quality castings. 150 sets qualified technology has been completed up to now. A plenty of technology is assessing.

4、Production Capacity

Now the maximum weight of the casting is 11000 kilogram in Neway foundry. The maximum diameter is 64 inches for gate valve and 48 inches for swing check valve .The maximum thickness of casting is 120 mm .There are WCA、WCB、WCC、、LCA、LCB、LCC、LC3、WC6，WC9、C5、C12、C12A、CF3、CF3M、CF8、CF8M、CG8M、CF8C、CN7M 、4A and 1A etc.

5、Quality Accreditation

Neway foundry establishes and implements the total quality management system. Neway foundry is certified by ISO 9001:2000 under Lloyd’s Register, and certified by Pressure Equipment Directive, AD. W0 and ABS in October 2004 etc.
