To strengthen employees’ emergency preparedness and life-saving skills, validate the functionality of evacuation routes, and test the efficacy of our emergency response framework, Neway Valve successfully executed a fire safety evacuation drill during Fire Safety Month.
The drill simulated a realistic emergency scenario. Upon activation of the alarm, employees promptly followed the formal emergency protocol, executing a swift and orderly evacuation from their work areas. Personnel efficiently assembled at designated safe zones, where headcounts were conducted and rescue coordination procedures were implemented.
A key component of the drill was the practical rescue operation, which demonstrated seamless inter-departmental coordination. The Security Team quickly secured all access points to the administrative building to prevent unauthorized entry. The Firefighting Team effectively operated fire hydrants and deployed hoses to contain and extinguish the simulated blaze. Simultaneously, the Rescue Team entered the affected area to locate and evacuate individuals simulating incapacitation or injury. The Medical Team provided immediate first aid to the injured and called for emergency services.
Following the evacuation drill, hands-on fire extinguisher training was conducted under the guidance of professional safety officers. Through a combination of theory and practice, the training detailed the working principles, operation steps, and precautions of fire extinguishers. This allowed employees to personally experience the fire suppression process, effectively master the correct methods for extinguishing incipient fires, and consolidate their safety skills.
Complementing these initiatives, Neway Valve has deployed certified first responders across all manufacturing facilities—trained professionals with comprehensive first-aid knowledge and proven practical skills, serving as the frontline support in emergency situations. Meanwhile, the company has configured automated external defibrillators (AEDs) and emergency first-aid kits to ensure timely and effective initial medical support for employees in critical moments.
This evacuation drill served not only as a practical assessment of employee emergency response skills but also as a valuable review of the company's overall safety management system. It reinforced the core principle that "safety is everyone's responsibility" and significantly improved the organization's collective capacity to respond effectively to unexpected incidents.
At Neway Valve, fostering a safe and resilient working environment represents both a fundamental commitment to our employees and an essential component of sustainable, high-quality development. Moving forward, we will continue to enhance our safety management systems, integrate safety awareness into every operational process, and safeguard the safety and health of employees as well as the steady development of the company.
