Neway Valve's Lean Office successfully held the Lean Improvement Competition themed "Excel in the Present, Shape the Future with Lean." Senior management, department heads, Lean promotion team representatives, and Annual Star Performers gathered to witness the achievements of Lean improvement, set benchmarks, and clarify the future direction of the company’s Lean initiatives.
The competition adhered to the principle of "selecting the best from the excellent," recognized a number of outstanding cases, and established Lean benchmarks that are replicable and scalable. In their case presentations, each improvement team detailed the specific improvement methods, implementation processes, and practical effects. They also conveyed the core Lean spirit of "starting small and focusing on practical results," providing valuable experience for all employees.
Mr. Elvin, the CEO, highly commended the effectiveness of the competition and issued an initiative to all employees: "Improvement begins with problems, matures through thinking, and culminates in practice. We hope everyone maintains the sharpness to identify problems and the enthusiasm to solve them, achieving both enhanced company efficiency and mutual growth for individuals and the organization." At the end of the event, the Lean Improvement Points Redemption Ceremony was held.
