During National Work Safety Month, Neway Valve hosted a themed safety event focused on traffic safety. The company created immersive on-site experiential scenarios to guide employees in strengthening risk prevention awareness and improving emergency response capabilities through firsthand participation.
Combining theoretical instruction with practical experience, the event featured a variety of interactive sessions. In the theoretical training session, instructors systematically elaborated on traffic safety risks spanning on-site factory operations and daily commuting, and analyzed key prevention measures against the backdrop of typical accident cases. An on-site knowledge quiz drew enthusiastic participation, effectively reinforcing employees’ grasp of safety fundamentals.
Three core activities were arranged for the on-site practical experience. During the Vehicle Blind Spot Experience, employees sat in the driver’s seats of trucks and forklifts to experience blind spots from a real driver’s perspective and master key techniques for proactive risk avoidance. The Safety Sign Guessing Challenge adopted an engaging quiz format to reinforce employees’ ability to recognize safety signs. In the Drunk Driving Simulation Session, employees wore specialized simulation goggles to navigate a walking course and personally experienced the severe dangers of driving under the influence as well as commuting to work while intoxicated.
The event featured a vibrant on-site atmosphere and high employee engagement. All employees who completed every experience station received commemorative gifts. Participants widely noted that the immersive format was intuitive and impactful: it not only equipped them with practical emergency risk avoidance skills, but also deepened their awareness of safe, compliant travel and respect for life.
Work safety is the lifeline of an enterprise’s high-quality development.
